Day 1: Kigali – Ruhengeri
Main destination – Musanze
Accommodation – Muhabura Mid-range hotel located in or near Musanze

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and be met by a our driver/guide. You will take part in meet and greet, hear some comments by the driver about the safari and then head to Ruhengeri. Driving, and overnight at Muhabura Hotel.
(You may wish to sleep in Kigali depending on your time of arrival to the airport before heading to Ruhengeri in the morning).
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park
Main destination – Volcanoes National Park
Accommodation – Muhabura Mid-range hotel located just outside Volcanoes NP

After breakfast be at the office of RDB at 7:00 for comment and instructions by the guide concerning the trekking of gorillas and and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. We encourage, for your own enjoyment, to make sure you are fit and healthy for this tour. It is important to bring good hiking boots, long trousers, gloves for protection against stinging nettles, snacks, and sufficient drinking water because it gets hot and humid during the day. You will spend an hour you will never forget with the gorillas. Return later in the evening to your hotel for lunch and later dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking
Main destination – Volcanoes National Park
Accommodation – Paradise Malahide Budget hotel located just outside Volcanoes NP
Meals Plan –Bed & breakfast (Full board available on request)
On your third day, you will take part in a day of Golden Monkey trekking in Volcano National Park. During this trek you will also have the opportunity to view the park’s volcanoes. You will return for lunch at the hotel and then proceed to Gisenyi to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Then head to Paradise Malahide later in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4: Volcanoes National Park – Lake Kivu
Main destination – Lake Kivu
Accommodation – Paradise Malahide Budget hotel located in or near Lake Kivu
Meals Plan – Bed & Breakfast (Full board available on request)
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning boat ride on the lake and have a chance to see a variety of bird species and different water animals on the lake shore. Enjoy swimming at Serena Hotel Beach. You will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the Paradis Malahide Hotel.
Day 5: Kigali
Main destination – Kigali International Airport
Accommodation – No accommodation (End of tour)
Meals Plan – Breakfast
Be picked up at your hotel by our driver and take part in a Kigali city trip including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi. You will have a chance to interact with the local people; discovering the artisanal products (collars, bracelets, etc…), then transfer back to Kigali airport. Here is where your safari will end.
