2 DAYS 1 NIGHT TSAVO WEST SAFARI

Description

Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Day 1 ; Diani/Mombasa/Kilifi – Tsavo West

Pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and drive along Mombasa-Nairobi Highway towards Tsavo West National Park. Game viewing begins upon entering the park as you enroute to your lodge check-in and lunch.

After lunch and resting till 15.00 Hrs, embark on an evening gaming game drive.  Drive to Mzima springs, an oasis of crystal clear water home to hippo, crocodiles, birds, monkeys and fish. Here you will view the aquatic life from an underground observatory tank before driving back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Tsavo West – Mombasa/ Diani/Kilifi

Early morning game drive before breakfast and if you are lucky you can spot the big five. After breakfast and checking-out of the lodge embark on a mid-morning game drive and visit the Shetani lava flow – a barren stretch of land scorched by recent volcanic activities in the park. Also visit the Rhino sanctuary – built in the park to save the endangered rhino. Continue with game drive as you exit the park. Drive back to your hotel or airport in Mombasa/Diani/Kilifi.
