Embark on a full-day tour to Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park from Mombasa or Diani Beach. Swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the marine park, and enjoy a delicious Swahili seafood lunch on Wasini Island.
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Mombasa or Diani Beach. Ride south to Shimoni Village, passing by Chale Island, Ukunda, and Tiwi Beach. Arrive at the Shimoni KWS offices to pick up your tickets.
Board a dhow and cruise to the marine park. Keep an eye out for dolphins on the way. If you’re lucky, you may be able to swim with them in the park.
Put on your snorkeling gear and dive into the water to explore the marine life of the park. After snorkeling, continue to Wasini Island for a delicious Swahili seafood lunch. Enjoy rice with fish or
crabs, potatoes, chapati, fruits and vegetables, and soft drinks.
If you like, you can purchase extras like lobsters and prawns directly from the restaurant. After lunch, have the option to take a walk through the Wasini Swahili village and visit the coral garden to see the old coral and the mangrove forest.
Then, take a boat back to Shimoni Village and drive back to your hotel Diani/Mombasa.
