Located at the heart of private Taita Hills santuary, bordering Tsavo West National park at South Eastern part. Salt Lick safari lodge is a 96 rooms built on two levels roomed elevated on stilts accommodation facility. All the rooms are built facing a waterhole just outside the lodge where wild animals come to quench their thirsty giving all the guests a beautiful scenery view to enjoy while inside. The accommodation rooms have permanent shower en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water running. The lodge has an underground and bunker with ground level windows which provide a close but safe access to variety of animals while drinking water. The elevated restaurant and terraced bar in the lodge also provide a very better view and photographic site to the guests. The water holes are lightened with powerful flood lights at night which allow guests to have the best views all through the night.
