Exclusive Holiday Safari Destinations From Kenyan Coast

Wasini island is located in the South Coast Kenya about 75 Km from Mombasa and about 56 km from Diani Beach accessed through a drive along Mombasa-Lungaunga highway.
A day trip offered by Diani Travel Centre involves pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa/Diani Beach around 7.30 am in the morning and drive to Shimoni jetty where you will be boarding an arabic dhow with which you will sail to Kisite Marine Park.
As you sail you can enjoy some snorkelling ( snorkelling mask is provided) as playful dolphin viewing. Your will later dock at Wasini Island for a sea food lunch usually included in the price. In the afternoon you will experience an afternoon sail back to the jetty with snorkeling and dolphin viewing. The driver will drop you back at your hotel.

3. SHIMBA HILLS DAY TRIP
1 day Shimba Hills gives you a chance to explore the second largest coastal forest in East Africaafter Arabuko Sokoke forest. The forest hosts: African elephant, Sable antelope, elephant shrew, bushy tailed mongoose and other small mammals like fruit bats. 4. TSAVO
Tsavo is the major or most visited safari destination one can visit from the Kenyan Coast. Its about 360km from the Kenyan Coast and about 4 hours drive. Tsavo is sub-divided into Tsavo-West and Tsavo East with Tsavo East being most rated with the number of animals you are likely to see.
There is also a number of luxury lodges inside Tsavo East. Some of the animals you are most likely to see include; Lions, elephants, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Warthogs, Ostrich, Baboons and lots of bird species. Tsavo East also features a man-made dam called Aruba dam and Mudanda Rock while Tsavo West features Mzima springs and a Rhino Sanctuary.
5. TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY (SALTLICK)
This is a luxury private wildlife sanctuary that features the most photographed lodge (Saltlick Safari Lodge).
The sanctuary is considered a wildlife migrating corridor between Tsavo East & Tsavo West. It features 2 lodges; Taita Hills Safari Resort and Saltlick Safari Lodge.
6. Amboseli
This is one of the Top Kenya destinations featuring a wide variety of Wild animals, bird species and the open view of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. It host large herds of elephants and is also home to lions, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, African dogs the kudus, Zebras, wildebeests and more of African wild.
It is also considered second most visited park in Kenya after Masai Mara national reserve.

7. Lumo Community Wildlife conservancy
Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
It hosts cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, masai lion, masai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of birdlife.
